Sweet Cyanide fratured on 2001 MANIACS: FIELD OF SCREAMS
Sweet Cyanide has been hand picked by writer/director Tim Sullivan to appear on the film score and soundtrack album of the hotly anticipated 2001 MANIACS sequel entitled FIELD OF SCREAMS!
Answering a call for music Sullivan posted on the internet, the band sent Sullivan their self titled album. Upon hearing “S.L.M. (Suicide Love Machine)”, Sullivan knew he had to include it in his film.
Channelling the classic 80’s retro metal sound, Sullivan says the song “is the perfect tune to accompany the film’s ‘pool orgy’ montage where flesh meshes and guitars crunch in a hot slice of grindhouse exploitation at its best!”
2001 MANIACS: FIELD OF SCREAMS premieres February 26th in Glasgow, Scotland,
followed by a UK run before its US premiere in April.
A soundtrack album from BSX Records featuring “S.L.M. (Suicide Love Machine)” will follow.
Stay tuned!
