Last night I refined all the artwork for the new release of Sweet Cyanide II. I designed a stage banner for the live shows that is going to look sick when it’s 10ft by fuckin 10ft! There are two merch booth banners as well. Designing those types of things are always gratifying, especially with the imagery revolving around this record. The three shirt designs are a tribute to the good old 80’s parking lot shirts we all know and love. There are also three other general SC designs. Postcards, buttons, you name it. There will be plenty of swag for everyone, from your puking little baby to your drooling sweet nana. We are not leaving anyone out. Everything is so fuckin epic. From the songs to the art to the live show I think we are going to give people back what they have missing. Remember going to shows at MSG or Nassau Coliseum and standing on line for a t-shirt? That brain overload of what to buy? Did you have enough money for a shirt and a poster or just a poster and a tour book? That was the stress that we love! Well, we are bringing back everything we loved about music and the experience and we are doing it on our own terms. No label. No rats dressed in suits looking to cash in on our livelihood. This is direct, people. From us to you with love.
When can you peep all of this shit? Well, we are finishing up post production on the record next week and once we have a release date, I’ll post some of the designs and new wallpaper.
Good talk.
