Según investigo este combo surgió de una banda que imitaba a los afamados Saigon Kick, cual luego pasó a tener personalidad propia.Simplemente Sweet Cyanide es como caratulan al primer disco de los oriundos de Nueva York el cual tiene meses de vida y dicho compacto viene conformado por 10 canciones en las que si bien se las puede orientar a un power pop glamoroso, se notan influencias ya sea del Glam tipo T.Rex, pero con un filo bien actual.Por momentos aparece la onda británica tipo Beatles con “Certain Shadows On The Wall” y se repite con el principio de “Between Us” aunque después toma una onda más modernosa.Uno de los invitados de honor es el talentoso Billy Childs de Britny Fox, quien pone sus habilidades con el bajo en justamente “Between Us”.Si bien las letras del disco no se puede apreciar, cuales vienen impresas bajo un collage de fotos, estas fotos valen la pena tener el cd, porque son ultra eróticas y la presentación es en cartón, cosa que a mi gusto es siempre mejor, y con un diseño bien Sixx A:M que la mata!Si tu onda pasa por el power pop, como dije arriba, o si bien buscas cosas actuales, mas allá de que el nombre suene bien sleaze Glam, esto puede venirte al dedillo.Mas info: www.sweetcyanide.com
