Hello Friends and Enemies,
So the weekend is over and it’s back to the grind (or grinds if u love coffee). We blew our loads in Virginia (the state not the girl) and loved every second of it! That’s a first coming from your four favorite Dirt Bags! Imagine live Rock n’ Roll the way it was meant to be? That’s right! I have seen the future of Rock (without a ‘Crystal’ ball), three words; Charm City Mutha Fuckin Devils! I had the pleasure of watching our boys kick some serious ass at back to back shows, and it was seriously inspiring and uplifting. As Mike and I spoke about music on the ride down to Va., we couldn’t help but feel music in general did not stimulate us the way it used to (Lady Gaga< Madonna). Modern Rock is lifeless and there are no Rock radio stations in NY, depressing? Not for long. You wanna see what i’m talkin’ about?! Look them up; A REAL Rock n’ Roll band! Imagine that? We had the privilege of sharing the stage with them, as well as pizza, beer, coffee, danny-bear, and an army of green bugs. Thanks for the experience CCD! Good friends, good music, good times. Sunday night, I had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Michael Monroe and his all-star band kill a sold-out audience at the Highline Ballroom (Thanks Ginger!). Feels like I went to a rock retreat this weekend and man did I need it!
As for us, we’re ready to take Sweet Cyanide Circus on the road again (didn’t take long for the rash to come back)! New album coming next month. Wait, re-read that last sentence. That’s right, Sweet Cyanide II, NEXT MONTH! I can’t tell you how excited we are to release this record. You want us to put our money where our mouths are, wait until you put this cassette in your 8-Track playa, Fools! The first Single and Video for Bad Jesus are doing great, thanks to you guys! Keep up the good work in spreading the word about us.
Finally, we are gonna be on a boat.
May 22nd, NYC with a bunch of booze and a few new songs to play that you will not want to miss!! Sounds pretty tantalizing to me (but then again, I’m manorexic). Tickets for the Rocks-off cruise are available here

Hot in the Shade
We got together last night for rehearsal. It was hot as a two-dollar whore in hell! Our rehearsal room has an air conditioner from 1984. The sound of it makes us think that it’s working but within the first song, the room was scented with man sweat. Every five minutes following, we took turns stating how fucking hot it was. Why do we do that? It’s probably the same reason I like to CRACK my snare when Ang is not paying attention; it’s amusing! Nothing like seeing a grown man in flip flops get startled and then pissed within two seconds. He can’t stay mad at me though. He loves me. But seriously, I don’t do it on purpose. I’m just fucking tuning man! Lol… I had my little digital recorder handy when Ang and Joe started ball-breaking. I got most of the mayhem recorded without them knowing. Classic. It’s 10 minutes of great entertainment. I’ll try to post it up in here in a few as long as they give me the ok. Anyway, we sounded pretty on last night. Crash Theory and SLM sounded amazing. Something got into those songs. It feels like they have been reborn. If you’ve seen us live in the past two to three months you know we’ve been playing a few select tracks from the soon to be released second record. Last night we added a bunch more. They’re coming along outstanding. There is such a righteous vibe exuding from the new songs. A confidence, if you will! We have a few surprises in store for the CD release party. We were working out the details last night. How do you feel about dancing elephants? We’re still trying to get clearance. Whether we get them or not, it’s going to be such a fun night. If there is one show to come out to this summer make it this one. I don’t think we’re playing back in NY for the rest of the summer.
Late!
